In the lines NOT being eaten by chipmunks...how's it going for you this year? I think the folks here in upstate NY are having a really good run right now.
We had a good run in Feb. I was about 3/4s tapped at the time. 6000 gallons is unusual for that time of season. We are frozen up now and I am finishing up the last couple hundred taps this week. Waiting for the runs to start again here. More snow now than the past this season. I am doing good.
Went over to FL yesterday and spotted this Yamaha on a lift right next to our friends RV park. While we were there chatting a 25ft FSH cruised down the ICW but wasn’t able to get a pic. Always nice to Yamahas out in the wild. View attachment 195387
I used to do detailing work on the side and have for over 20 years. I've dialed that back and rarely to never take anything on. Buddy like family bought a z06 with 3k miles on it and is having the whole thing PPF'ed. He convinced me to correct the paint and get it ready for PPF. Then it'll come back to my house for a ceramic coating
I experienced my 1st real earthquake. There was a 5.9 earthquake not too far from here. I woke up at 4:20 AM with my bed moving hard. I'm on the 22nd floor so it's a lot stronger. I marked on the map where I am living. I heard something loud in the building, idk what it was. I don't think earthquakes are common here.. My friend says she woke up to her windows cracking and moving.
Most look similar. It’s Pelican Sound Golf & River Club. Nice private community with boat ramp on Estero River, which goes into Estero Bay and then Gulf.

Stopping for the night. Probably about half way done with a 2 stage correction. Turning out nice, but man having to polish so much using my 3" and 2" pads with all the tiny areas and curves
I've had about enough of our grey winter skies, but sometimes it's just the right background for a picture. Red-tailed hawk hanging out on top of a telephone pole...
That's a wrap! Tomorrow I'll give her one good wash to make sure all the polish dust is out of the cracks and Monday she'll be off for a full PPF. Then back for a ceramic coating.
Went to the Sacramento Boat Show and saw some really cool stuff. I was still surprised by some of the pricing but if I was in the market it would be in this order: electric foil ($13k), fully loaded seadoo switch tri toon ($62k), yamah 252 se ($95k), not pictured.
