This morning's view from Costa Rica! May have to sell the boat and move here. View attachment 195725

Hey, why not?! It's funny because I was just thinking about selling my boat and truck to stay here in Colombia. It sounds crazy, but the seed is planted and I'm thinking more seriously about it. Costa Rica sounds awesome, it's on my list of my next destination. Costa Rica or Guatemala

Edit: another thought. I didn't know this, but a lot of these countries offer retiree residencies. Actually I've met some "retirees" here: ex military in their 30's just hanging out and living good.

I retired from the Army 16 years ago and I am 5 years out from retiring from my second career. Thinking about it, but the Admiral says that it is a nice place to visit and a long way from the grandkids when they start showing up. Who knows what will happen in those few years.

View from our condo in Hilton Head. This view won’t suck all week.

Three times in the last few weeks, we've walked by dead fish in the road...hundreds of feet from the lake. Eagles catch shad (mostly) and head inland to eat, when they get harassed by hawks or other eagles and drop their catch...and never come back to get it.

I've heard from friends it's unlucky to drive a trailer without a load on it. So some guys keep one of these in the back seat for the "empty" times between loads. No idea if that's true or if people are just being funny. Either way it's always entertaining to see.

Todays sunset over Shelter Cove Marina.

Lunch today at The Salty Dog Cafe in South Beach. This is the marina they own.
