Friday I had a date. Man, I looked at google street view for the area Aranjuez and it looked fine, but at night I didn't feel safe driving there with the BMW. A lot of motorcycles, no helmets, no traffic laws, and people looking at me. When I dropped the girl off, I didn't stop for red lights, and I drove fast to the highway lol!

Saturday I went to a bike park here and they had test bikes from Santa Cruz bikes so I got to try an ebike. Nice to get to the top of the mountain but I could definitely feel that extra weight. Nice bike tho and I checked out other Santa Cruz bikes. They had the bike that I almost bought a few months back .. That paint job has me regretting that I bought something different lol. I made some friends there so I need to get back to the states and bring my bike to Colombia.

Sunday, I went to a "finca" like a country house with a pool, ate traditional colombian food, and had some beers. Then at night went to a friend's friend's house and hung out there for a while. The house was in Bello which I was told by many people that area isn't secure.. but I felt more secure in Bello than Aranjuez so maybe I should avoid Aranjuez

Less than 2 weeks and I'll be back in the USA, it's going to be weird to be back home after almost 6 months

Went on my first cruise over the weekend to Cozumel Mexico from Tampa. Went on Royal Caribbean Serenade of the Seas. Whole family loved it, some ready to come home, I’m ready to sell everything and move onto a cruise ship.

Wonder what a studio room costs on that sucker??

Well, since others are showing turtles, I might as well to. Found this one in the pool skimmer. Good thing we were not using chemicals for the last week. Must be a nest up here. Painted turtle.

I have a serial bird pooper who’s been targeting my poor truck. ?

Had the same thing happen to my Highlander. Turns out it was a cardinal that loved to look at himself in my mirror. I set up bird feeders on the other side of the house to get them away from the Highlander.

It's a Cardinal sin to crap on my truck. I have to fold the mirrors in and let the tractor take a beating. She is chasing off the competition.

Easy to fix with electric folding mirrors, but these on the old truck, not so much.

Lucky me, with my car in the garage. Good thing the wife is out of town and I can drive her car that’s to big to fit in the garage. Replaced 16 months ago. Hopefully they warranty it out for me on the 3yr/18k cycle min warranty.

Spent a few days in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Got a few pictures of snowy egrets and great egrets around the Scarborough Marsh. Looking forward to some nice weather this weekend so I can start looking for herons and eagles along the river from my boat.

Two checks for just under $700. No big deal I know but significant because these are the first restitution payments I have received since my truck, boat and trailer were stolen in 2008.

now I’m wondering what happened, did the perpetrators settle down and Get jobs or did they win the lottery. Two separate checks, one from each perpetrator.
