Made a trip to Green River Lake in KY this weekend. Same dock (Emerald Isle Marina - For ice cream of course) 16 years and 8 days apart!

Still have the towels on the windshield to dry, and tube attached to the back while docked. Still our favorite local lake as well.
Classic memories like this last forever.

He was so proud he could fit and be useful

Just a headline on Yahoo News this morning. The fish was disqualified because it was injured before it was landed. I never knew about that rule. Imagine being a crew member thinking you are getting a cut of a large pot of money only to end up wrong.

I remember a few years back the crew who landed the biggest marlin in a tournament in Mexico got disqualified because one member did not buy his fishing license / permit for the day, $20 cost them well over a million. IMG_2672.png

Got a flat, just as I got home from boating this Saturday. Sucks but at least it happened at the end of the trip and in a safe location. My Son helped me replace the flat with a spare. I will be taking the flat it to be repaired soon. IMG_2664.jpegIMG_2663.jpegIMG_2658.jpegIMG_2657.jpeg

Been there. I keep a tire repair kit in the back of the Yukon. Actually wasn’t a bad deal for what all came. Gives a “slight” peace of mind.

We sold our oldest boat yesterday. Fair winds Speck. Our unused 1976 14’ ODay Javelin w/ trailer for asking price. Willow had just finished making the cockpit cover and the mainsail a couple of years ago.

We were surrounded

But we made it back still dry. The skies opened as soon as we docked.

I was on fire yesterday. Two sucked ropes and I also forgot to turn off the boat after we ran away from the storm. So dead house battery. I'm grateful for clean out plugs and for dual battery switches lol

1200 plus miles over two days, GA to ME. Can't wait to put it in the water later today.
@Quad weather is 20230621_094952.jpglooking good for the next 3 days or so.

@Coult45 ....UM....WTF you doing there dude? Gonna clean the whole bay? Just cleaning out a "driveway" to get to clear water? I'm an inland lake guy and this looks like madness to me. What's happening here?
