The older towers can't be folded and I was tired of paying for storage so 4 bolts and 2 plugs for the speaker wiring and the top half comes right off. Decided to hang it from the ceiling to get it up and out of the way.

A group of jakes and toms this morning finding food after 63 degrees on Sunday and yesterday’s rain melted our snowpack. There is another group of hens running around separately.

Took in the Ft Worth Symphony of music of John Williams. Amazing is all I can say. And the storm troopers in the box suite was quite funny. Hearing Jaws and Jurassic Park gave me chills.

One blower and a 3 stage damper system controlled by solenoids based on reaction chamber temperature. It is a fire brick lined chamber below the firebox. I can take pictures later if interested. I have seen temps. as high as 1730°F this past heating season. It is a 10 yo Central Boiler E-Classic 2400. Upper limit on the water temp. is set at 185°F. The second stage kicks in at 549°F and the third at 749°F.

That's a lot more complicated that the one I have and the one I'm planning on building. I plan on retiring the old wood eater after this season, using some of the parts from it and building a larger and more efficient one. I've looked at ones similar to yours but have a hard time justifying the cost of them when I can build what I need for well under $2k

I was gonna say the same thing. Looks like some very specialized equipment going on there.

My wife and I ice fish a ton and this is VERY common. And they have specialized teams/companies that do this. Drop it in the drink, cost you about $5k to get her out, needless to say, not a lot of price shopping! You have 30 days to retrieve before the EPA starts imposing daily fines!

We drive out on a minimum of 15" with half-tons, 8" for sleds and ATV's.



Our group ice camping 2 weeks ago on 18" ice, 2 half-tons and a midsize SUV plus our 2 monster lodges, an ATV and a portable!

Think I'll pass on a used boiler. Seen too many with issues that are not listed and more of a PITA than they're worth.

I'm slowly accumulating material for the next boiler. Here's the start, an old 40' round propane tank that I'll be cutting down and using for the burn chamber.
