Starved Rock to Peoria Run...Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015

Not sure how early I'll get down there, but if I am early, I can certainly sit on the port side bench with the best of em!

@buckbuck I resemble that! Lol
we have talked about staying at the inn so we can be on time this time. Sounds like a great weekend away from the kids honestly. If we stay there then we can be ballast but my wife needs to be on the light side.

She will have to eat a lot of doughnuts in the next month to be able to qualify as ballast. You going to get your tower done?

I just drilled 4 holes!
measuring to see what/how I can reinforce the area.

Head count?
Will be 4 or 6 in my boat.
dock will be up?

Just going to be 2 on my boat. Gonna have a Dad & Daughter day. :D

Any recommendations on lodging close to the park? We're thinking it would be a good idea to drive down Saturday night and not have to get on the road at 530 Sunday.

The inn at starved rock is nice but website makes it look like you need to call.

@RiverRat just got me on this site. Would love to come, but I am still convincing the wife. It is our anniversary weekend. I think that sounds like a great anniversary celebration, we'll she what she thinks. I was excited to see it was an event on a Sunday, as I work saturdays and can never make to to things like this. Hopefully I'll get a chance to meet all of you!

Welcome! Hope you can make it.

Welcome Aboard @Otter, hope you'll be able to join us.

Welcome Otter. Let her know we are a friendly mid-western bunch and would enjoy getting to know your family.

Looks like we will have our boat back in time for this trip, can't wait to get her back in the water!

That's awesome!!! It'll be great to see it in the water, with smiles on your faces.

My Shanghai plans have changed and we are back in! Looking forward to cruising with all of you.

Anybody have recommendations for treatment of frostbite?:)

Steve

Steve, a little bit of brandy and a hot fire.
