The official "What did you do to your jet boat today" thread.

So got my new trailer jack installed on Thursday...love it and worth every penny! And my helper ?

Those bolts look like they don't have a lot of meat in the nylock nuts. I couldn't use the bolts that came with XO750 I went and picked up other ones that are a bit longer.

I had to buy bolts too. I ended up with 5" 1/2-13 grade 8 bolts. I want extra threads so I can install security nuts on the ends.

I got the 4 inch ones from Lowe’s they didn’t have the 4.5’s. I may go back and look for those but this worked ?

The shank is like 4 1/2, it's 5" including the head

Not to the boat but to the trailer, added bunk slides.

I call and call but nobody answers. My buddy 4291 says she’s heard rumors of another boat but my captain won’t talk to me.

pardon my ignorance. Does that not scratch the boat?
Only if the SS Screws back out OR their is dirt/sand between the bunks and hull. Carpet will absorb some dirt and sand but if they get dirty enough they can scratch hulls as well.

This technically qualifies as my boat because it's on the trailer and was financed from the same fund. I finished the mods on mounting my Ark 750 trailer jack. I got really lucky. It just fits in between the tongue and winch tower. They recommend installing as close to the tongue as possible. IMG_2254.jpg

That is where it should sit on 21' footers, if it doesn't I will pretty guarantee you are too heavy on the tongue and the boat needs to slide back.

Are you saying I put it in the right place?

Xmas in June!
Trying to properly outfit our new boat.
Slide Anchor, Slide Shore Spike, Anchor Line, Bow Line, Slide Hooks, Anchor Buddy, 4 Dock Lines - Thanks Ryan !
Deluxe Mooring Cover
4 Slightly used Mission Sentry Fenders ($100 on F-Book !!)
The Small Size Box Anchor fits into the 2011 242 with LOTs of room, the Large would probably fit easily.

Just to clarify, you agree with the placement?

Not all today, but this week I upgraded the speakers in the boat to all Wet Sounds Revo’s. 6.5 up front, 8’s in the helm. Powered by a Polk audio amp. Also did some gel coat cleaning/polishing... previous owner had a decal on the boat and once I removed it you could definitely see where it was. Canopy frame version 1.0.. More to follow as I test fit the top. Main pieces screw together and comes apart into 5 smaller pieces and can be rolled up in canopy and easily stored in ski locker. All 1.5 inch PVC.

I appreciate the pics. I had difficulty deciding how I was going to modify my cup holders to accommodate Bimini poles/ fishing poles. I never thought to use plumbing fittings! Aftermarket cup/ fishing pole conversions cost. $100+. PVC versions cost about $20.

I thought the same thing. Much easier to buy cheap PVC
