The official "What did you do to your jet boat today" thread.

Do you step on the raised engine cover area? Or just for a uniform look?
I do think I will put a piece on the 'missing' seat pad in the rear center of the boat.
I step or sit on all areas I put the seadek. Its also good just for traction if I set towels or towables across anywhere. I did leave off the 2 long pieces that go from the tower mounts down on each side. Not sure if I like them or not.

Installed my new Simrad GO9 and Active Imaging 3 in 1 ducer. Made a new mount for the undermount and got a beefier ram mount.
This new setup is rock solid

@Neutron Is that cut starboard that you mounted with 4 screws from underneath? Did you just screw into the fiberglass or predrill? I'm looking to do something similar in the next month or so.

Yes cut 1/2 inch starboard. Very strong stuff.
Pre drilled with a slightly smaller hole than the screws

Swapped the stock anchor chain out for a PCV coated one. Also marked speaker locations for next week's audio upgrade.

Installed the new Garelick mount for my new Jewls Customs Stanchion that will eventually support my Blackstone. New rims and upgraded to radial tires and measured and figured out the hitch settings for my new SUV so we can tow with it occasionally.

Jewls makes very nice custom stanchions, I have 3 of them.

Replaced the deteriorating hydroturf on passenger side above the head with seadeck. Sucked getting old glue off but much cleaner look

Also replaced my 4 inch stoltz with a 3.5 roler.
Now it moves free20210718_175602.jpg

Added the Stoltz roller finally and the trailer guides. Havent had a chance to test either one but hope to soon.

Audio upgrade started. Two stock cockpit speakers (either side of captains chairs) and one 10" sub woofer hole cut port side helm. Tower speakers holes drilled and wires pulled. Didn't get as far as I had hoped today, but a good start.

Watched my 17' 212X drive away with someone else. Bittersweet.
GP1800r to come soon though...so I'll keep my account active.

Finally finished my bus bar and fuse panel installs in the battery compartment and the helm. Still waiting for an additional circuit breaker to connect the fuse panel in the battery comp.

@RobbieO Very nice install. Clean.
Thanks. No plans for the rear fuse panel yet, but ready when needed. Now that the front fuse panel is installed, I'm proceeding with the Fume detector, and high water alarm installs. Connected my SXM radio to the helm fuse panel today.

Finally did the ol' ribbon delete and added Riva Racing air filters. Too bad mother nature hates me and the weather here in SWMI is TRASH!! So hopefully this week I can get out and see what got better...

Where did you get the guide posts?
Apologies for not replying sooner.

These are the CE Smith 60" versions. I got them from Wholesale Marine. Make sure you get the extended "U-bolts" because the included ones dont fit our trailers. I found out after the fact and ordered them separately from e-trailers.
