Finally got to take the boat out for about an hour today, the fins felt like they helped a bunch, the boat stayed much straighter over the choppy water and turns where smoother and way more controlled at speed. Although the water was a much calmer today getting up to the dock felt easier, all and all I'm happy with them. I'm planning on going out this Saturday again try out some slalom ski and post update after that.
Looking forward to hearing about your slalom experience with the thrust vectors. Do you have them so that they stay down at higher speeds or are they only for low speed turning?
I received my thrust vector and had to immediately remove do to almost impossible steering at any speed other than idle I talked to Will from jetboat pilot and my reverse gate is not adjusted properly causing binding. Does anyone have pics or info on how to adjust the reverse gate I have to manually push mine up for it to lock in the forward position. The first pic is how it is adjusted without touching it. The second is me pushing it by hand to the locked position and the other two photos show the metal wear and scraping of the thrust vector.
I have them on my 210 Challenger. The manual gate adjuster is on the left hand side, there should be a cotter pin holding the adjuster block in it's groove. Remove the cotter pin, lift the adjuster block out of the groove, the rod is threaded and you can adjust by spinning on / off.
I think some of the new boats have an electronic adjust for neutral, not sure if there is also the manual adjust as well.

@Kyle Mekulik Can you please post your pictures? I got mine recently and they worked fine but with more reversing, they came off and lost the top bracket. Jetboat pilot have been great and they are sending a modified part to see if that solves the problem. Looks like others have similar issue so they are suspending sales for Glastron part until issue is resolved. It looks like the cross member is hitting the gate when reversing for some reason.
I have steering that works all the time , best thing you can add to your 4 tec system, one system works on both single and twin engine setups, simple and reliable I have been making these for many many years, no one has ever harmed their nozzle by adding a few number 10 screws , the sea doo nozzles are bullet proof My system is also designed to avoid canceling out your reverse steering, remember your nozzles go in the opposite direction when backing up. So having fins in the water in reverse can easily work against you. I do not have spray issues or plastic parts. https://cobrajetsteering.com/rotax-4tek-products/ all the Rotax engine and pump applications use the same setup regardless of the boat manufacturer. Buy your last steering "FIRST", 30 day money back guarantee . Read what people have to say about this simple and effective system https://www.facebook.com/Cobra-jet-steering-257584527645178/?view_public_for=257584527645178 Remember I have been doing steering for over 15 years everyone else is trying to follow the trail I blazed. Do your homework. Don't be a lemming.
And by the way I’m out all the money I spent for this stupid thrust vector when I asked for a refund from Will he acted like he never met me even though I spend countless hours trying different and new parts. All I’m left with is this stupid paper weight and a dinged up reverse gate.
Im sorry you are having to deal with this. And @JetBoatPilot needs to take care of this issue. I keep telling everyone your wasting your money, and putting yourself and everyone in danger by installing these.

I'm not sure who you spoke with that I have never refused someone a refund if it was inside the 60-day refund. Why don't you give me a call tomorrow and we will discuss this further. 850-867-1410
I put the lastest thrust vector ( new design retaining brackets). This past weekend and had the boat out both days and I can say for sure it works! Slow speed steering was a lot better and as others have said it seems more stable all together. I’m impressed for sure.
Sorry I don’t and the boat is in the water now. The new brackets just slide under the nozzle bolts. And the top one is angled. I had it installed in like 10 minuets.
