Anyone know what transducer came with the 2023 222 FSH Sport E with the SimRad GO9? I’m pretty sure it’s only a 2 in 1 which is why the side scan doesn’t work but want to make sure my settings are correct on it.

I do not know what transducer it has, and I do not think the transducer has side scanning ability. I think someone with a 252/255/222 FSH installed a transom mounted transducer to gain the side scanning function with the Simrad.

This is the transducer in my 2023 FSH 222 Sport E. Doesn’t have sidescan capability.

that transducer has no side scan

Thank you much @ssa_woodstock. That's exactly what I was looking for. I haven't seen the boat in a couple months while it hibernates so i'll save this info for later.

So reviving this thread. When I try to select the transducer I don’t see it under the selections. A bunch of other Airmars but doesn’t seem to able this one.
Any thoughts?

For my 2023 FSH 222 Sport E this is the setting choice for the transducer, HDI 50/200 455/800kHz. Keep in mind maybe different years and models may vary.

That was it. Thanks for the quick response. Night and day difference on the screen now.

This may not apply to you but on my 2021 I found that Airmar didn't sell or support the installed transducer anymore. I had a broken fairing block on mine when I bought the boat and, after many phone calls, finally found an excess block from a third party. The only reason I could think of why getting help was so painful is that Yamaha got these cheap from Airmar when Airmar discontinued them at some point. Just FYI for others.

Same thing here, I ended up calling simrad they pulled up the models with the serial #, my '25 222E has an nsx09 with an HD50/200, my trade in had a lowrance with side view, if I would've know I would have kept, nsx has room only for one SD chart vs the lowrance, i had navionics chart and c-map ,i could just switch back and forward, and only one transducer can be plugged in instead of 2 at a time
