My temperature and speedometer have been malfunctioning. The dealer told me that I need a new transducer and there is a minimum 1 and half year wait from Yamaha. Has anyone else ran into this issue? Thanks!
Some of us with different models have had similar issues and some have found Airmar replacements that just needed a few wires to be spliced in.
Look here for some good info
Try the thread @Neutron copied above, good info on how to replace with an available oem Airmar transducer.
Edit: One thing I would add to the thread...maintain the integrity of the shielding around the twisted pairs and crimp connectors. I soldered and heatshrunk mine and then re-connected the shielding prior to sealing up. But then again, there is no shielding at the connector if it is being cut out.
This was cutting and splicing of a Raymarine RV-200 transducer extension cable, a $75 part, not the hardwired cable from the transducer, $800 part, in case I screwed up.

I have a 2014 ar210, looking for a replacement transducer for speed, depth and water temp. OEM as you know is not producing any cross reference suggestions that may work for me? Thanks
