What did you do to your boat today?

Added a stick on compartment/shelf to put items in I don't want to stow away. Mostly my phone

After buying the deluxe upgrade back in november to add to my existing super Magnum ak19 fins , I finally got to install it yesterday now that I have the boat back from storage! Relocating the starboard anode was tight, but it did fit with a couple mm to spare. Looking forward to taking them for a spin this week! Wondering if there would be a difference mounting the inside fins using the upper or lower hole.. For now I went with the lower which tilts the inside fins a little higher.. But if anyone has already tried both it would be interesting to hear what you think.. Thanks Jeff @Cobra Jet Steering LLC for the great system!

Getting ready for the launch later this week. Putting a shine and some wax on the 30 yo hull.

Working my way down the port side of the 35' hull.

I used this derelict boat as staging for my tools. Been sitting here for years. Hailing port is in New Hampshire. I am sure this is the closest it has come to wax in quite some time.

I had the ladder working on the hull, so Willow was stuck on the boat. Nice place for a nap.

Almost all preseason work is done:
  • New snap-in bow and stern covers.
  • JL audio upgrade
  • Trim tabs
  • New Garmin 74sv and Ram mount
  • New Odyssey batteries installed
  • Washed/waxed on Saturday, cleaned the upholstery and sprayed it with 303.
Also prepped the deck for my SeaDek install which I hope to do on Saturday.

@Crob83 this tray could be useful. do you have a link or know what it was called or where you got it?

looks great! Did you drill into the windshield trim? I just purchased the cover and snaps and I am concerned about this part.

If you're looking for a good soap with good lubricity that foams well in a foam cannon you should check out meguiars hyperwash. Since I wash a lot (clients cars, my boat everytime it touches water, our vehicles) I buy it by the gallon and it lasts me a long time. Pretty sure you can get it on amazon.

Yup you can get it on amazon:
Finally ran out of my regular stuff and got to ordering it!
I'm excited to try it out, maybe next weekend.

I use Mequiars Gold Class on all my vehicles. Doesn't strip the wax and leaves the paint shiny AF.

Trim tabs and actuators mounted to the transom!

Not exactly to the boat, but definitely for: got the dock into the water. Mooring ball will be later this week. We launch next weekend and the season begins!

Custom - the guys at N.E.W Canvas In Neenah WI did a great job.

I forgot if you said what that ran you and what the turnaround time was. I know at this time, they're probably slammed with people who just took a look at their boats with the turn in the weather, and the "crap, we gotta do something this year about the cover".

Have a house rented in Naples in July. If the boat doesn't come in, it's going to be o completely different week.

Hope it arrives in time! Are you planning to haul it up with you?

Took my bimini off, Mother in law is coming in an hour with her sewing machine to add 2' to the length of it as per a nother thread on this forum.

Yes, unless delivery is extreme last minute and I will have it delivered to parents in Raymond or brother Wells.

I spent a good part of a last Sunday preparing and I’m starting to install a new battery tray, to accommodate two house batteries, one start battery and at least one on board charger. A pic of the old tray is also attached for reference.
