What's your favorite Bourbon?

Not bourbon but so smooth! Worth a taste if you’re ever looking to stray.

Friend of mine passed this along to me, and I did sign up. I have no afflation with this raffle other than having signed up for it, and thinking you all might think the list of prizes were cool... LINK

What's being billed as $36,000.00 of high end bourbon.

Just to put it out there again, I'm not associated with the raffle. Just wanted to show off the cool list of bourbon now, because I'll be way too drunk to share photos it if I win.

I’m really starting to believe many Bourbon brands are overrated. I grabbed this over the weekend just to try. I gotta say. It’s pretty damn good. And the best part……it was $16.95 for a 750ml bottle.

Hey keep that a secret please haha

Another not-a-bourbon, and a little double post for tonight. Went with the neighbors, as they had planned on going up river, further than we've ever been. Dinner, and bar hopping on the way back home meeting up with family and friends.

9+ hours later, and this was the wrap up to the day ?. Diesel Unlimited barber pole, and I finished off the sampler bottle of Macallan's 12 I had. Two thumbs WAY up for both. I've added the full-size version of the Macallan's to the rotation, and I have picked up the Macallan in the black box recommended by @F.M. (I think?). No sample size for that, but I was able to find a cigar lounge with a bottle, and it was a great suggestion. Maybe a bourbon tomorrow

Glad you liked it!

Some good easy to find pours that I keep around all the time; Old Forester 1910 - 1920 - Statesman, Wild Turkey Rare Breed, Woodford Double Oak, Four Roses Small Batch Select and Michters Rye.

Lately I have been diving into Barrell Bourbon, with Seagrass Rye standing out at the moment.

Spent some time in CO last week and picked up a couple bottles at the distillery. I really like their 'normal' bourbon, so the distillery was a must stop during our trip. Cool place if you are in the area. I would have really liked to eat at the restaurant, looked really good, but just didn't time it right for that.

I picked up a bottle of their Port Cask finish on the recommendation of a co-worker - it leaned on the sweeter side but it was so smooth and delicious. Definitely going to be my go-to for the next bit as I "broaden my horizons" away from scotch a bit.

I second that, I opened a bottle last week, and I'm already in need of another.

Was gifted a bottle of John Emerald Alabama Single Malt from a friend of mine. Crafted in my home state, in Opelika, Alabama. Was pleasantly surprised. A little sweet, hints of cinnamon, and a smooth finish.

You need to send it my way to keep this senior citizen warm on these cold days an nights

TIPXY sells it and will ship to MD.

As a senior citizen I was just trying to con you out of your bottle. Unfortunately you did not fall for it. Now I will have to continue to drink my Jameson. Oh what a life I lead

Not my favorite bourbon, but I wouldn't deny a glass or... more! Also started in on the scotch I found at Costco, darn nice at $23/bottle. I will likely buy another bottle of the scotch on the way home, as they were limiting bottles to one per member.

Had my brother-in-law share that pic above with his neighbor, who responded back "they have a steal of a deal at (some store) on this $60 bottle of scotch, it's $25 right now, when you get back home, you should pick up a bottle to try"

He was talking about Glenlivet 12 ???

I told my BIL, first of all, Glenlivet ranges from $25-38 lately, secondly, if you ever pay $60, you deserve your fleecing ? Told him it's a great easy sipper to have around, and to get it at $25, but if he forgets, it won't be the loss of a lifetime.

I think that tullibardine is a bit more complex than Glenlivet 12, slight peat, and a good intro to the peat to see if you like that path. If not, you can still easily enjoy the rest of the bottle and be on your way to others
