What's your favorite Bourbon?

Damn dude......you horde Blanton's then drink your wife's hooch??? Scoundral!

That way I never run out of my good stuff!

In order I'd probably say the Makers RC6, BT store pick, KC Store Pick and Longbranch last. Maker's took a while to open up but had some definite fruit punch notes that I ended up really enjoying in the end.

I saw a Maker's "flight" @ Costco, but I ended up passing on it because the wife character told me to hold off so the kids would have something to get me for Christmas. They ended up not getting it, and Costco sold out. I won't be making similar mistakes in the future.

I'm on their Ambassador's list, but I can't buy any of their stuff since WI is a state that won't allow shipping into the state. I either have to travel to buy it, or do without. My daughter-in-law actually travelled to IL twice to get me a bottle of Eagle Rare for my birthday one year. After getting to work with the bottle, her boss bought the bottle from her when he found out what it was, and then allowed her to travel, on the clock, to buy MY bottle! ?

Just finished off a bottle of Buffalo Trace. Then got into my wife's Jefferson Ocean. Gotta say, the Ocean is pretty tasty.

Was that the "regular" Jefferson Ocean? Can't recall if you were the one who had the different finish version.

We've only tried the blended one. We passed on a bottle of the straight version in TN last week, not realizing how tough it would be to find again.

Garrison Brothers, Woodford Reserve, Four Roses in that order.

Just missing an O after picking up an A and an S on allocation day in AL this morning

I like those flight 375 bottles as long as they don't include the standard offering. I find that generally you're overpaying for the standard while getting the others in the flight at cost. But it can be a good way to try them especially if it's all solid stuff. The Old Forester whiskey row flight is one that comes to mind.

My wife prefers the 12y Macallan over the 18y. If you like the double cask version, you should try the sherry cask one.

Does this look like the one you're talking about? I've got to take a look at my "better prices" places, as this store is generally overpriced on everything but the lower standard liquors. I can get the blue box for $60 or sometimes $55, so I know $75 isn't a good price on that bottle.

That's the one. The sherry cask versions all come in black boxes and are slightly more expensive, but well worth the extra few dollars.

And $75 is a pretty decent price. Here in AL it is $83 at our Beverage Control stores. I found it for $66 at a store in Nashville last week so I bought a few bottles to stock up.

Managed to grab these two yesterday. Had a pour of the Founders at Chattanooga Whiskey's anniversary party, very good with light sweet and smoke. The Castle and Key is a batch 1 and mostly for the collection as it's a pretty young bourbon.

Got a small bottle of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked for Christmas. Didn’t last long! Might be the smoothest I’ve ever had. Going to be my go to from now on!

Wife picked this up at the store the other day. Mixed in with a couple shots of Four Roses and it makes a quite refreshing drink for the evening!
