LOL no worries. I know how it works. The more you love someone the more you pull their leg. It is actually, a sign of affection. Which remind me, how come every year you end up in Bimini with smallest displacement boat? First you go on the 19 footer, then you shade off 600lbs of tower, seats, and anchor box hatches......

Ok, so I was finally able to put some time in at the computer putting these videos together. Let me warn you, you won't see anything incredible here. There won't be anything to encourage / discourage future Bimini-ers. I wanted to create the most true and accurate portrayal of what it is like to embark on a journey like this for those who are thinking about it or are just curious, so I went with two cameras; one forward facing directly in front of the helm, and one rear facing on the port aft. I decided to go with a "raw video" type of feel. The sound that you hear is coming from the camera in front of the helm, and I have lowered the volume to a non-obnoxious level. Forgive any foul language or sweet talk between my wife and I that you may overhear.

The one on the helm provides gps based telemetry data so you can see speed, g-forces from impact, and various other info. The little box in the bottom right has proven to be tricky... it reset every time a new clip began (which was set at ten minutes to play nice with YouTube).

So, there are a couple things to clarify;
The clock is set to central time. Local time was an hour earlier.
The elevation gain works like a fitbit... it only counts up. But, it gives you a neat idea how many waves we went over at how many feet high they were.
Also, the distance traveled resets with each new video, so you have to add them up if you want to keep track.

I plan to post another 4 segments I have which include the final attempt to go east and the return to Port Everglades. If YouTube ever stops giving me corrupt data errors...

That's right, a crisp landing flopped the GoPro over into portrait mode. I asked my wife to fix it but... I had a little trouble getting the tension screw tight on that one that morning since everything was wet from the rain overnight.
