Boat cover availability

I would like to know if my dealer has sold FSH210 Sport boats and included OEM covers at the time of sale since January. I still have not received the cover I paid for when I purchased the boat in January at Cycle Springs of Clearwater Florida. My dealer said they found other dealers with covers and they won't part with them.

Needless to say im pissed about that!
How can you manufacture the boats but not have any covers available for them

We ordered the full mooring cover too. Last we heard was the same, back ordered until at least 4/30.

Ordered boat in Jan. Still waiting for full mooring cover. My dealer said if I found one to buy it and he would be fine with that. He did not charge me for it yet. He could not get one till end of April or May.

Our cover cost was rolled into our financing before we knew it was back ordered. The dealer has been good about everything and, with the cover and all the other things they gave us, we were only $500 over the base price. I can deal with the back order. It's not the dealers fault.

My cover was also rolled into the price, I am more concerned about other buyers working with their dealers and getting covers, my cover delivery date has been pushed back several times now. I have called corporate Yamaha to try to insure that if I have a cover on order that it goes to me and not part of someone else's new boat deal.

How the hell you gonna bring out a brand new model boat and not have covers for it!
And anyone who doesnt cover their boat is a hack boater!
Yamaha screwed us on this one! Bad!

Lawrence, Yes, It sucks, but I'm still using the winter cover. Yes, it's extra work when I'm done using it for the day but, it still gets covered. If you think Yamaha is screwing you on a new model, not a just new boat mind you, a completely new model, you should have waited a year and read what others have gone through. If your major complaint is your cover isn't in, than I think you're in pretty good shape.

Let me first say i understand you get what you pay for and all those expressions, BUT this is my secondary boat, and my main boat is a Sea Ray, and they actually have customer service and do give a damn about their customers!
The 210 fsh (and 190 for that matter) are kind of a different boat being a cc and jet. I guess the only legit competition was scarab, maybee im gonna continue to regret this purchase!
I would also like to give a shout out to anyone in southeast michigan, do NOT use wonderland marine for your yamaha purchaes! They straight lied to my face about this backorder until i had already taken possession of the boat! Not the most honest thing to do!

Lawrence where are you living located? I'm in the St Joe area. I bought mine from Wonderland and will never go back again. Forget about any warranty work unless you're willing to take the entire boat there. They would not warranty a bad zipper on my leaning post. Said I needed to bring the entire boat in. 2.5 HR drive not going to happen. Another dealer took care of it with no questions asked.

For those of you in Michigan....are you already boating?

Not sure there is anything the dealers can do about a back order situation. If you don't have the shipping cover, I'd call them and ask for it.

I have received my cover and so far it seems fine. My dealer had a hard time finding a cover. Purchased boat and cover in January, received cover in April. I called corporate Yamaha shortly before cover arrived, may have helped?
