Installed new rim/tire combo. Great deal from Overtons a few weeks ago. As well as installed the cobra jet fins and quick release transom tie down straps.View attachment 97232View attachment 97233View attachment 97234View attachment 97235View attachment 97236
Great boat, I used to have an older (first year production 2012) SX190 but the 2019 redesign is very impressive.
Also, those Cobras look good on those new pumps.
I have had the same quick release tie downs, too, and they love lubrication, I spray/douse those in CRC6-56 all the time and have had no issues in three seasons working like new. If neglected, they can fall apart in one season, in my experience.

Oooh. Any real reason to not buy this and instead buy the whole extension?

$$$ and they take up a lot of room on the boat. You're only charging batteries not supplying power to a cabin with galley and such.

If for some reason need to temporarily store in your driveway, or anywhere else (like for example when your rivers flood for two months strait, lol)

Ok. So using this adaptor plus a medium to heavy duty regular cord should be enough? Safe?

Just double check that the outlet or breaker at the shore power pedestal is GFCI protected. They should be. And keep your extension cord out of the water. I see cords in the water a lot.

Changed the oil and filters which I do every 25 engine hours. This boat requires minimal maintenance. After owning it (bought used) for 10 years I've had zero problems with the engines or pumps. Very minor things with the boat (replaced horn, fixed sticky gasket around storage cabinet, swapped out the seat post for adjustable height, etc.). The MFI trailer on the other hand has been the subject of most repair needs.

On the trailer I've replaced the bunks, rebuilt both brakes, changed the bow winch, removed the rear tie-downs and replaced with Boat Buckles (best thing ever), had a local trailer service company re-do the brakes again, replaced the tires twice - the sun kills them long before the tread wears out. Replaced both fenders after my wife had a parking lot accident, the list goes on and on.

Swapped out the original trailer bow roller for a new Stoltz. Much nicer and won’t mark up the boat. 5FFEDD50-E583-4C25-9FE0-E93D4DBCC296.jpeg

That's exactly what I use when dealing with shore power. Picked up a matching extension cord.

Edit: Here are the products I picked up. Spendy for what they are, but they are good quality and very heavy-duty.

Well, along with gaining 4mph by putting in fresh spark plugs, I pulled the floor above the fuel tank and the ski locker door.

I did a layer of 80mil Kilmat. I think the sound is better for sure. We will see if anyone besides me notices.

Installed the Lucky 13 Cone and Cobra Super Ultimate AK19 on Saturday during the storms. Of course the sun comes out at 7pm right when i finish. Took her out yesterday for the second time. DAM what a difference!! Big Shoutout to @swatski for the quick response on the cone install.

What would you differently with mounting? I am planning the same Echomap 43CV on my '18 SX195 with same dash layout as yours.

I am thinking mounting furthest to the right as possible.
I removed the Hawkeye depth finder/alarm and moved the radio control from the right side to the left. I only did this to avoid drilling any new holes. If the radio control wasn't already there i would have put it as far right as humanly possible. So far it doesn't bother me where it is, it's easy to see and use, but it does stick out a fair amount. If there were no holes in the dash i would have mounted it somewhere above the cruise control.

The fuel hatch seal is a must.

I find some very simple and easy/non-permanent ways of sound deadening working quite well, one of them is stuffing the rear compartments with memory foam (covering the deep end and the bulkhead dividers separating front of the engine bay). The idea is to cut off the noise coming out of the engine bay through the bulkheads - on both sides.
I do not have any pics, but will post. Stuffing the back of those storage compartments with memory foam does wonders to reducing noise! I do that whenever we don’t use ballast for wake surfing.

Here is an example of what memory foam looks like - mattress topper ($90? at Sam's club) use in the ski locker - this is more for holding spare fuel jags in place but same idea.

Thanks again @swatski and others for the suggestions on sound issues. I have some material on the way that I will be applying, but I would like your help on the trailer jack too please. I will have to move the bow stop support back a few inches to make room for the larger Arc Trailer jack. I am guessing the best way to work on this is to get the boat off the trailer first?
Also, I have not had to order any replacement parts yet, but could use some guidance . For my 2016 E series, I was looking at babbits, is this my boat ? All the other E series options are Cali designations .
The previous owner installed seadek, but wrecked the hex bolts holding the fuel hatch down, and I want to replace them with new. I think this is correct? Yamaha 90111-08832-00 - Bolt,Hex. Socket Button : Babbitts Online

Since I am noob searching for parts, and suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you !
