Yeah. I'm going to be reconsidering the whole layout over the winter for sure. Spend more time with it.

Yes, mount where I did in the port side storage area. Easy to run wires down the side. Use 4-gauge wire to supply power to the unit.

I mounted my amp in the same location, up out of the way and you never have to worry about it getting wet.

How did you guys route your power cables? Are your batteries under port aft cushion? That's a long way away from power source.

Yup my battery is in the stock location and route the power cable through the side compartment into the storage compartment. I would say it's about 8-9 feet of cable.

My batteries are under port aft seat. My helm is starboard. So are yours mounted under passenger dash area? If so how do you keep the screws from protruding into cabin. Looks like it's mounted right behind bow seat

Correct, the mounting board is screwed into the back of the bow seat which allowed for little bit longer screws.

I think I'll keep electronics where I have them. I'll just build a seaboard floor for them, and raise that 2.5" off floor. Any more water then that I got serious issues to worry about.

Got some stuff in garage ready to install. Current house renovations are kicking my butt though. Not allowing me time for my baby. Hoping to bring her home this weekend to install some stuff.

Got some king starboard ordered for a redesign of electronics bay. Still going to keep it under starboard aft compartment, but raise it off the floor 2-3". Also ordered some accessories.....

Stopped by the storage unit to check on her today. While I was there I hooked up Fusion Link app. So I did a little sound check, and my lord. So here's a video of the hull flex. I'm going to have to winterize this weekend so won't be in the water for awhile, but when she does hit the water...... I'm pretty sure we will have a water dance going on around boat.

While impressive.......I will not settle for anything less than "Jurassic Park rings" in the water next spring

Thanks buddy. I'm happy with it, but am considering adding a second Revo 12 to the starboard side under helm area as well. Maybe a winter thing

Brought baby girl home today to detail, and winterize her . We hit 30° here last night. So I guess it's officially that time. Didn't do much to winterize really. Ran some antifreeze through her, and blew her out real good. That's it. Just a little insurance so to say.

Did however do a couple things she needed.
Jetboatpilot raised hull ID numbers matched up great :




Replaced the galvanized chain dealer put on anchor with yamaha coated version :


Added the yamaha flush hose to get my hose outside clean out tray, but it's still not long enough. I'll get a little extension over the winter for it. Goal is to be able to cut hose off at tray instead of climbing in and out to house.


Lastly I put the sea deck pad on our table top :

Can't you just add a garden hose shutoff right there in between your garden hose and the flush hose? Maybe I'm not understanding what you're looking to achieve.

That's exactly what I have. However, it is still under the tray so I can't use it because the flush hose is so short. Just need an extension so the cut off is outside of tray

Haven't done much as boat is hiding under both covers for the Virginia winter. Got my garage shelving built so boat stuff now had a full time home. She's looking real lonely at the storage unit


Did start on the new stub box yesterday and today. Built it 2" less wide then the old one. Couldn't mount the old one against hull in passenger compartment. It had to sit against bow seat storage area (see previous pics earlier in thread). Anyway I went with birch this time for material. Save a little weight, and be less absorbed by moisture. Next phase of box build is to cover in fiberglass cloth and resign to further strengthen, and water protect. Might just paint with Flex Seal though, or both. Finish in carpet. Couldn't ever find a good match on carpet sadly . Anyway here's some box build pics...

Sub box is complete. Ended up using 4 cans of Flex seal to paint exterior of box. Waterproofing so to say. I figured fiberglass was an overkill. Finished it off in Charcoal carpet (best match I could find). Installed the sub, and grill. Boom. Hoping to get boat home this month to start the amp rack redo

Got some new bindings for the Hyperlite. My old EXO bindings were a royal pain to get on and off. These are super simple. Can even put on dry now....

The guides are from a company called Fulton. 50" curved guides. The pads are from wakemakers. I have the pads super glued (thick) to the guides so they don't come off
