I saw this as I left one of my favorite restaurants (after paying $80 including tip for two fish meals and a diet soda) and wondered how long it had been hanging there and if it was posted there voluntarily or as required by law.
I saw these for sale onface book market place recently. $1,800 for two custom built speaker enclosures for an AR240. Not for me, as I already have a 13 speaker system (including six 1” tweeters) that I rarely turn the volume up on but I’d bet someone will buy these soon if they have not already been sold.
Also, another fish on the road. Watched it play out from a little over 1/4 mile away. Juvenile eagle chasing an adult until he dropped the fish. Then they both sat in the trees for a few minutes trying to decide if it was worth retrieving. They both decided against it, and headed back toward the lake. Eagles don't seem to understand that the Five Second Rule is really just a guideline.
My friends from areas where it snowed/snows regularly don’t ever accept my invitations to go snowboarding/skiing/sledding. The mere mention of snow brings back a lot of bad memories for them. “Ron if you have ever shoveled snow just to get to your car or to get your car out of the drive way to go to work you wouldn’t consider a day in the snow a fun thing either.”

My Dad use to say, "Snow is fun to play in, not so fun to work in". He use to also say, "You don't have to shovel rain." Needless to say, when he and Mom retired, it was to Florida!

I shoot with a Canon R6. My main lens is an RF 800mm F11. It's an amazing amateur lens for wildlife photography. Way smaller and way less expensive than something the pros use, but it's everything I need. And it's small enough that I always use that lens when we take Cooper for walks twice a day around the neighborhood...one mile of trails and one mile of country roads for a pretty scenic loop. The sun actually came out today, so I got a few good pictures of cardinals around the bird feeder...

Here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland my new snowblower is just collecting dust in the garage. We have had no snow this year. Plenty of rain but no snow
Perfect for the man cave. Vintage Yamaha receiver (1974-78). This one was literally new in the box. Never used, the box disintegrated around the packing material. Will be an ongoing project. It’s in working condition however the dial need a cleaning as it sounds scratchy when turning volume or balance knobs. Second, will replace all capacitors. Lights are all functioning but will keep original.
Back at Harbour Town today. Photos from on top of the lighthouse and a photo of the 18th hole at Harbour Town Links. Looks like they are setting up for the RBC Heritage PGA Tournament next month. The stands were being built. Also, this is the owner of the Salty Dog Cafes 47’ Viking. Still no jet boats since I have been here, but came across this SC boating safety guide with a Yamaha on it.
