I know with winter fast approaching it's now time to start planning vacations. I threw out the idea to a few friends about going to Table Rock Lake next year. It took off like wildfire. Here's the info, Table rock lake June 10-14, 2015. We are staying at Oak Hill Resort (oakhillresort.com 877-739-4566). It's in the Aunts Creek area. If you call and make a reservation you will be speaking with Vicki Stewart. You need to give them my last name so she know you're with our group (Schepker). There is a total of 14 rooms and 5 have already been booked by fellow Jetboaters. Here is a list of who's going so far. KID friendly

Nice job @mattschepker !! If anyone needs any other info of the area, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm only an hour from the lake and our place is only a 15-20 lake ride to Aunts Creek.

@Jim Robeson, I like to take the boat somewhere and eat lunch or dinner while we're down there. We always made the drive from Indian point to kimbering City, coyote's dockside restaurant. I know there's not many restaurants that are on the water but if you know of any good ones let us know

@jcyamaharider ... same here!! There is a place that is just around the corner from Coyotes...It's called "The Rocks". Usually has live band on Friday and Saturday as well as a dock with golf ride to the restaurant. Here is the website. http://www.therocksgrill.com/ The have a big menu and most importantly the beer is cold!! :winkingthumbsup"

Is this a place kids can go?

This would be very cool if we could make this. However, I coach basketball and baseball in the summer, so it would be a miracle if that time period was free.

@mattschepker ... I have seen families there to eat but the biggest crowd on Friday and Saturday night is a more younger adult crowd. But it's not a rowdy place and have seen kids running around during the concerts.

Sounds like the boathouse on the river !!!

Between all of our families we have 5 kids so family friendly is a plus

How did you pull off Wednesday through Sunday? That time of year the resorts on table rock typically only rent Saturday to Saturday.

@sstegh, It's in aunts creek area, not sure if that has anything to do with it. I think for June they are only open on weekends. If this becomes a yearly trip I want to check out the place you mentioned during the fall cruise. I think you said king's cove? If that not right what was the name?

@gunnerson cape fair how far is that from where we are staying? I am not really familiar with this part of lake. ALot of smooth water in Cape fair?

Cape Fair is about 15 miles up the James River Arm from Aunts Creek. The water is great up there!
