Here is what I saw at lunch today, a Bentley powered by W12 engine. There was no good reason for it to take up two (premium) spots though, what a D move. I hope Karma is watching.

I’m sure there is a perfectly logical reason on why his over priced Volkswagen needs that many spots. Maybe he was late for his teeth whitening or Botox appointment?
Now for me to nerd out… the company I used to work for bought an aerospace machine shop (Trac Precision Solutions) in Crewe England. Just up the street is the Bentley plant where all Bentleys are made. That plant used to be the Rolls-Royce Merlin Engine plant in WW2. I would see 10-12 Bentleys every morning at the stop light heading to work. To the American, it’s a status symbol, to the English, it’s a luxury performance car. The green modified Bentley Jeremy Clarkson drive on the Grand Tour is housed at this plant in the parking lot.

Nassau this morning. I saw a couple @zipper catamarans moored in the harbor before the Carnival ships blocked them.

Seeing it was overcast with occasional rain I figured it’d be a good day to grind some venison and make some jerky & snack sticks. 15lbs of jerky and 5lbs of sticks. Got 3/4 of the jerky done and going to hopefully finish it & the sticks tomorrow after work.

Snapping turtle looking for just the right spot to drop her eggs. She was taking a break in the middle of the fire lane, about 250 feet from the lake. Her shell was at least 15 inches in length. Cooper was intrigued, but smartly kept his distance.

Just got a new draw bar with a 4” drop (top), a shock absorbing urethane bumper in it along with an anti rattle device and a rocker ball (ball which pivots slightly). Hopefully these will reduce or eliminate the noise I sometimes hear when trailering.IMG_5903.jpeg

Lowes Ventana??

I am going on that ship in July. How was it?
Super great. We went on the Serenade of the Seas last year out of Tampa, I believe the Freedom is the next larger ship up. Plenty to do, really never saw the same person twice.

That record has been broken a few times since the Freedom class

Oh for sure, was just a photo opportunity as I was standing next to it. Wife is looking at a 7 dayer for next year on the Icon. Sister ships home port is supposed to be at Port Canaveral, 2 hours closer to me than Miami. I believe that one is in sea trials now.
