Does this mean the menu options are expanding for my dinner reservations?

Found a 1991 Looney Dollar coin at the base of the mast of the PDQ 36 after unstepping it. She was built in Whitby, Ontario in 1991.

Work sent me to Virginia for a supplier audit. Photos were tough with the traffic and police.

As I thought…the Yamaha 9.9 broke a spring. Now to check the piston for damage.

Probably just valve got bent I bet the piston is just fine. Do you have a leak down gauge setup?
If so you can check if it's bent and if it seals up you can replace that spring without removing the head. The air will keep the valves closed while you remove the valve keeper and spring. Done it plenty of time

Yes, I have a spark plug quick connect for an air hose somewhere. I used to shim my own solid lifters on a VW. Hope it’s only a bent valve. I will be doing a complete head job if other internals are good. I knew the sound of a broken spring.

The 15th - and final - Four Horsemen Poker Run took place on the Lake Winnebago chain yesterday. It’s been an event exclusively for power boats and has attracted some pretty nice rigs.

INTERESTING FACT: Mercury Marine's world headquarters is in the city of Fon du Lac which is at the southern tip of Lake Winnebago. They have a large testing facility on the Fox River in Oshkosh and will be sponsoring their own poker run this year - the "Bago Big Bet".

Sold our pair of jetskis and the buyer paid in all cash. I'm so glad it wasn't small bills. My 10 yr old wants to see what $20k felt like so we had a lil fun with it. Went straight to the bank afterwards.

When I sold our UTV’s and trailer, a couple of months ago, I also had about $20k in cash. The difference being that about $14K was in $20 bills! Needless to say, this was quite a few stacks of 20’s. Felt really odd going to my credit union with huge stacks of money, although the credit union didn’t care! ?

Luna moths showed up in numbers last night.

Ya, it’s time to replace some of the 23 yo pine trim.

Finally some water, other than the air we have. Ponds in the development are about 3-4’ low.

We head out Friday for Nassau and have now upgraded to a 46' Lagoon since we added 1 more to the crew. So there are 6 of us total, 5 of us scuba dive. Attached is a rough itinerary. After reviewing with the other captain and reading a cruisers forum I think we may have a much more aggressive itinerary than we thought. We'll have to see how it goes as we get going. I've saved all of these routes to Navionics. This is going to be some tough sailing with some of the depths we will be cruising in. I went ahead and bought a DJI mini 4 Pro to not only get some ariel shots of our trip but to also potentially use to check out water and cuts in front of us.

Where's @BigN8 ??

He should be in Staniel Cay today ?? no updates,

is he busy being the Captain Bligh of the ship or still swabbing the poop deck ?

maybe he Fletcher Christian'd the boat ??

Spent the day at Staniel. Then sailed to Iguana Beach. @zipper you’d be proud. I tacked through the cut and sailed right to anchorage. We rented tanks at Staniel and dove the Thunderball grotto. The sailing has been tough with winds out of the South.Screenshot 2024-06-10 at 6.42.51 PM.jpegIMG_7379.jpegGPTempDownload.jpegGPTempDownload.jpeg
