I was going to post this in the General Discussion forum as “Yamaha on sale, one day only”, but I thought that would be too mean. Seems sorta appropriate here.

Anyone own one of these? I've dabbled with buying one.....the Yamaha is only $58 while the Ryobi with wheels is $138.....is this a case of you get what you pay for? My pump is 3100psi.

I'm also looking for recommendations on an "undercarriage" wand for under my vehicles.

Yes, get it with wheels, and get a steel one. Greatest invention for cleaning your floor with a pressure washer, when you don't want it blowing all over!!

i have a generic one similar to what was depicted in the first post (no wheels). With the pressure washer running the cleaner “floats” over paved surfaces. That is, minimal effort to move across a relatively smooth surface (side walk, drive way, street curbing). Huge improvement over using a wand when it comes to fatigue, consistency, and a huge time saver.

the only negative I can think of is when you try to get the edge of the side walk/driveway and the grass is taller than the surface you are cleaning, the cleaner doesn’t reach the edge, maybe leaves an inch gap. FWIW, My pressure washer is ~2500psi.

also, I am speaking from casual use, not from a professional’s perspective.

At this price....I ordered one too!

These are great tools. I have a craftsman that cut my driveway cleaning time down from 4 hours to about 1.5 hours.....worth every penny! The power of your pressure washer definitely makes a difference. Mine is 3200 PSI.....let my neighbor borrow the accessory and he used on his 2800 PSI....still worked but took longer to get the same clean!

I have had one similar to the one pictured above without wheels for at least 5+ yrs. with enough pressure and water in a suitable pressure washer as mentioned above absolutely floats over the surface no wheels needed. Easily maneuvering over the driveway and cutting cleaning from many hours to minutes, cleans evenly so it doesn’t look like you ran a giant off white crayon over your driveway...
