I assume that they bumped ground and snapped a stabilizer off. Sucks to be the Captain in a time like this.
 
My cousin just got her first job as a deckhand on a Yacht that left Ft Lauderdale for the Bahamas yesterday. This scared me! Had to check the date on it
 
hate seeing the boat (yacht) go under water at the end.
 
Man, thankfully everybody made it out ok.
 
Surprised they wouldn't have bilge/water alarms near/next to the stabilizers if this is something that happens.....wouldn't have stopped it from sinking, but could have grounded it which would have been cheaper and safer to handle!
 
So weird...reminds me of the blues season after tonight.
