***Jetoboaters, this is the description of my boat that I am using on my various listings. It's assumed that most people don't really realize the greatness of a jetboat... For those that do, you can ignore some of the info in the ad****

Hello. For sale is my 2011 Yamaha AR240. This is a great boat, with upgrades, absolutely no mechanical issues!! If you are looking for a 24' Yamaha jet boat, you know this is a steal. You would probably tack on at least an additional 20K if you were to buy the 2016/2017 model of this boat. I can't find any used AR240s within a couple hundred miles from here, so if you're looking for this model, you should move fast. I've had it in storage up until this week, but it's now ready for viewing. Boating season is here. Remember, no sales tax for private party boat purchases in Minnesota; this could save you thousands.

You can find brochures, spec sheets, and all the info you need on the internet on this boat. This is a Yamaha jet boat, and is very unique compared to the other manufacturers. Please do your research. It has DUAL 1800 CC ENGINES with jet propulsion; no prop to worry about. Again, these boats are sort of in a class of their own, due to their engine configuration. 360HP!! Dual 4 stroke 4 cylinder engines. This is not a your standard 6 cylinder I/O. This thing screams on the water!!!! Top speed with these boats is 55MPH! And, it's red, so you know it's fast! These boats are very room inside as you can see by the pics. I'm 6', 200 lbs, and have no problem lounging in the front bow. Several seating configurations. It also has a table that can be setup in the back seating area or on the swim deck. Or get a grill, I've seen that! It has a head compartment that you can put a porta potty in if you wanted. We've never had one in there. Installed is a custom made 1 piece snap on cover. This cover is hand made, and cost $1000 alone. The covers that come from the factory are not the best, so this is a must upgrade. With that said, I'll also include the factory cover. Storage galore, check out the pics! Boat will include an anchor, some life jackets, rope, & some bumpers - all you need to get out on the water.

Included in the deal is the Yamaha trailer. This Yamaha package is great for serviceability, being that the boat, engines, and trailer are all on manufacturer, Yamaha. New tires were installed by previous owner. As you can see there is plenty of tread left on them. Trailer wiring all works great. It's the flat 5 prong type. 2 inch ball required.

I am located down the road from Lake Minnetonka, so it's not a problem dropping the boat in the water prior to purchasing. I have over 120 pictures of this boat. I'm not trying to hide anything. I just went through and cleaned up the ENTIRE boat. Check out the haul, no nicks or damage of any kind. I just gave it an oil change, so it is ready to hit the water! It could probably use a wax, but I'll leave that for the new owner. You'll have the neighbors envious with this thing sitting in your driveway. I have no doubt the couple pictures showing some scratches will buff right out.

The boat is showing 77 hours. It is not a brand new boat, but overall it is in excellent shape. I did a few things to the boat before I dropped it in the water last year.

Here are some of the things I added, along with the boat's features:

Custom made one piece snap on boat cover. If you are going to slip this boat, this cover is a must! This cost me $1,000 alone
Throttle syncro device from jetboatpilot
Dual battery with switch, so you don't have to worry about running out of juice
Set of thrust vectors from jet boat pilot
New lettering
New bilge pump that operates off both batteries.
Power port for USB power & aux in so you can plug in your phone or ipod

Yamaha aluminum wake tower
Sirius ready stereo system - rear remote non functioning
Wakeboard racks
Cruise assist - aka Cruise control
Snap in marine-grade carpet
Removable Dinette Table with Pedestal (Mounts at Cockpit & Stern)
Bow Filler Inserts for Multiple Seating Configurations
Integrated Drink Holders
Adjustable Captain's Chair with Flip-up Bolster
Glove Box
Walk-through Bow Door
Enclosed Head Compartment (not equipped w/ head) w/ Light
Tilt Steering
Courtesy Deck Lighting
Dedicated Anchor and Rope Locker
Bow Reboarding Ladder

If you were like me, a new Yamaha 240 (or 242) was out of my price range. Used is the economical way to go, and for a boat of this age & hours, you undoubtedly will have several years of hassle free boating ahead of you. With the right financing, you could get into this boat for ~$300/month, zero down. These boats retain their value!

Any questions shoot me a text or leave me a message - Chris
