Are those engine hours correct? I don't see how someone could put 500 engine hours on a 2014 boat.

But what exactly is your question? What do the boats look like (condition wise). Need more info.

Wow. That's a ton of hours for a 2014 boat. These engines are near bullet proof, however, that's still a lot of hours. I'm not 100% but I've heard the hours on these engines are not an issue until you get to 800 or 1,000 hours. Again, just what I've read somewhere and can't confirm.

200 hours for a 2010 is a non issue.

What are the conditions of both boats?

Same type engine in both boat I believe. I believe both are the 1.8 engines. I'd say it depends on the price. What are they asking?

Both of those sound like good deals.

Without seeing them, here is just my opinion. If you plan on boating quite a bit, I'd go with the 2010 with lower hours. If you're gonna boat occasionally and want a newer boat, then you could lean toward the 2014 with higher hours.

Right on. Well 500 hours is starting to get up there, but that boat is only a year old. So that's not a bad deal in my opinion. As long as they changed the oil every 100 hours. Might see if they'd still come down just a little more. 200 hours is more reasonable, but the boat is a little older. Still not bad at all either.

Unless that SeaDoo Wake looks flawless I would walk away. That year's boats had the older style Rotax engine, and the throttle controls were very different. You have separate engine sticks and a reverse bucket stick.

500 hours on a boat in one year....wow. Something doesn't seem right.

If I were you, Id look into some boats further north. Maybe West Palm or JUpiter area. Its not that far, but less likely you will buy a lemon of a boat. Good Luck!

I'm having a hard time understanding how somebody could put 500 engine hours on a boat in a year, unless the boat was "for hire" or something. You'd have to boat almost every day to get those kind of hours. Whatever. One thing I do like about the newer model over the older is the swim deck layout. The lower section is closer to the water and there are some actual flat upright surfacs where speakers can be mounted and such. OTOH, seems like people are seeing somewhat lower top speeds on the newer hull 210s as opposed to the previous generation. Not sure why, but seems like thay are 5 mph or so slower on top...or at least that's what some owners are reporting.

Also want to consider if you will want a tower....if you have kids that may want to wake board/surf...then you will regret not getting one with a tower (ask me how I know). 500 hours in one or even two seasons is crazy....that is 2 hours of driving every other day.....perhaps the owner commuted to work in it every day?????? CRAZY There are plenty of boats out there with WAY fewer hours.
