@buckbuck

Thanks for the great pics. We had a great time yesterday( minus kid meltdowns). Sad to say that boating season is pretty much over...

Left these as thumbnails... they're about 4Mb or so each.

What a nice day you all had. Looks like a great run!

Have to agree with 007, hoping next year I can make the run.

Looks like you guys had a great time, the weather was perfect.

Hmmm, looks like I am a week late n gonna have to wait till next year to see y’all again :)

Did a week and a half job out in Peoria just recently. Found a place called the burger barge that looks like a run down shack but the burgers are good. It is within walking distance to the casino which i would not recommend. Kinda a hole in the wall. I don't gamble but we walked through out of boredom. I don't know where docks might be there either, just explored a bit. The bass pro over there has a bowling alley with a big fish tank and bar. Oh yeah and supplies if needed, lol. I didn't explore the side of the river we are usually on, but i did put up a portillos down the way- too far to walk.

The Burger Barge was brought up as a place to stop. Their dock area is small and shallow water,especially in 2017. East Peoria has a lot to offer on the river but they have no docks. I have sent the City an email asking why no docks and received no reply.

That was one of the places we considered this year, but we were told it was very shallow there and could not fit us all.
