2020 AR 190 hole in top of jet pump

That is the "rooster tail" fitting that is open on jetskis, closed on boats. Used on jetskis to increase visibility while on the water.

Plugged.

Are you sure it’s open? There might be a bolt down inside there and that substance is probably glue holding it in place.
Yes it’s open I shined a light through it. Could this affect performance any?

No not really but you’ll want to plug that hole. Otherwise you’ll have a strong jet of water shooting up against your hull.

That outlet is used on PWC’s to shoot a jet of water up in the air for visibility if I’m not mistaken. On the FSH model boats that outlet is harnessed to provide a raw water wash down for the interior of the boat.

Mine came with what looks like a bolt screwed down in there… and it looks like it has some epoxy on it. Don’t go too ham on the size you could split that nipple. You could always just attach a piece of fuel line or small heater hose and put a plastic bolt in the heater hose. My starboard side has a piece of heater hose attaching that nipple to a plastic fitting that goes to a valve.
