Went out yesterday and met up with one of our customers who was gracious enough to let us use their boat for measuring up to fit a Wake Wedge a month or so ago. Installed the Wake Wedge in the parking lot. The new rear transom presents a new set of issues but we were able to adapt and overcome. This was a 255X boat with the automatic Wakebooster. When the WW is installed you will not be able to deploy the Wakebooster as the wedge does touch it but we have anti-scratch film to put on the WW bar. @jacoviii suggested unplugging the factory Wakebooster so it doesn't automatically deploy, we thought this was a great idea and will be our suggestion also. Once installed we set out and weighted the boat as they normally do. After getting the boat up to speed the results were as we expected! Ballast setup was 100% ski locker and port tank, 80% starboard tank, 25ft transom bag, 2 people in the bow and 3 people in the cabin with one surfer out. Push from the wave was amazing and the customers commented how much more it had over just the Wakebooster wave.
We have placed our order for the first round of universal and regular bars to be built, no idea on when they will be available but it will be soon. These will fit on the current model 25ft boats with and without the Wakebooster, but not with the swim up seat bracket.
