I found this under the bench seat on my new AR210. Any clue where it goes? I can't find a place for it. Maybe a bumper for the tower while shipping?

Engine hatch bumper?

It's the walk thru windshield bumper

Holy dire consequences Batman!

That's the base of the retaining arm on the modulation controller from the inter-ballistic balancing module...better reinstall that ASAP

Yup! Bolts up about 3" to the left (while facing abaft the starboard gudgeon) of the flux capacitor!

Seriously though, I'll go with pass-through windshield bumper. If there's already one on then it looks like you have a spare.

Thanks for the replies. I will check the windshield and engine bay in the morning. Seems a little big for the windshield though.

that's what it looks like because mine was broken when I got my boat and thankfully last season a fellow jetboater @blacksapphirez hooked me up with an extra he had. Be careful when you screw it back down and not too tight because the screw can rip through the thin rubber. That is how mine was broken from the factory. I used a washer to help prevent it from happening again, especially when it gets stressed when the cover is on.

Yours does seem longer than mine but I have a 19' boat so not sure if the larger windshields have a different bumper.

I went by this evening and checked the windshield. That was not it (yes, this mystery item is much longer... :)). I completely forgot to check the engine bay. Will do that in the morning.

I think it's part of the pole that's used to keep your cover elevated so rain water doesn't puddle.

Sorry, don't know the proper terminology

I'm off the flux-cspacator bump re r fan club here...

I looked in my engine hatch and ski locker and don't see any kind of bumper used there so not sure what else it could go to. You know how Yamaha workers love to leave us new boat owners extra parts and surprises :D

OK I've come to a conclusion that this is simply an extra bumper for the windshield. I could not find anywhere else it could possibly go. It does not look as if it has been screwed into anything previously so I assume it was dropped when the boat was being assembled.

My cover pulls that upper bumper off my windshield every time I trailer it at higher speeds. I started using noodles on both sides on the top to relieve the pressure.

Haha, he said "gudgeon"

I found one in my boat last summer. It is worn but I cant locate a spot where it came from. Cam.

@H2OBoy It looks to me like the bumper that protect your walk thru window when you open it and place it against the passenger side windshield. There should be on the back side of your walk thru window. Check to see if you have one, if not check to see if if there is a hole where it might have come unscrewed.[flag]
