It would appear that the live well aerator pump in my FSH 210 has died. I have voltage at the plug connection just before the pump, but the pump doesn't even make a sound.

It looks like I have the Atwood Tsunami T-500 pump 4606/4640/bn. There appears to be a Mk2 version out now. Does anyone know if that is a drop in replacement? Or should I try to find an original (mk1) version somewhere?

In case anyone comes looking for this thread, here is how this worked out for me.

The Mk2 is not a direct replacement. It is for the bilge style pumps and isn't suitable for the live well filler. There are different sizes of these pumps. I choose the 500 gallon model (T-500) as that is what was in my boat before.

Access to the pump is through the access panel around the clean out plugs. Remove the numerous screws and the panel lifts up giving you relatively easy access to the pump, hoses, and wires.

The replacement was pretty simple. There is a wiring harness plug just inside the engine compartment. I unplugged that and used that connector to splice onto the new pump with heat shrink crimp connectors. The new pump had a much longer inlet nipple than the old one, so I cut the hose back a few inches to accommodate that. Other than that the pump fit right on the factory mounting bracket and the outlet side screwed right on to the connector.

The hoses used for this application are some kind of reinforced rubber. I think it might have a PVC spiral inside the rubber. Mine were incredibly stiff as well. So stiff that when trying to pull the old connector out the rubber split open. This was easily solved by using a heat gun to get the hose warm to the touch. Once it was a little warm it stretched over the new connector pretty easily.

It has been relatively cold here so far, so I have not had the chance to get out on the water and test it for leaks. Hopefully it will be trouble free.

Sorry I missed this thread in March… I would have suggested trying to find the Mk 1 so the replacement would have been easier.

Check the fittings on the live well itself.
When I installed the electric raw water wash down pump, I installed a T fitting into the live well fill line, the factory hose was so stiff the fittings on the live well itself came loose, so I’d suggest checking those fittings.
