Well I am happy to say my 212x is officially paid off! Sadly the next day I went back into debt... But man is the Rzr fun! Still can't get over how smooth of ride it is over rough terrain! Any other rzr owners kicking around?

MAN that looks FUN!

20150718_091508.jpg We have 4 Polaris off road vehicles in the family, but sadly no RZR yet. Did you get the new turbo one?

No... No turbo for me, and after driving the 1000 I'm happy I didn't... More than enough jam for me, and no expensive turbo rebuilds. I'm already a little scared of the power of the 1000's.

We've had several since 2009. Sold our last one and used that to purchase our boat. No regrets as we've had way more fun on the boat together as a family then we ever had on the RZR. Plus the RZR stayed 3.5 hrs away at a farm since there was nowhere local we could use it. The boat stays in our garage ready to go. Maybe we'll get a 4 seater one day instead of a stuffy golf cart to drive around the community.

Yeah, I dug a pretty deep hole with our RZR4.....and now I'm eyeballing those new Yamahas!

@Glassman holy upgrade list! Do you drive it to work? :-)

You can drive them on the road here in GA!

a sxs is on my next toy list but im either going can am or the new yamaha

Sweet toy. I used to own a side business buying and selling used ATV's. It is amazing how far things have come and for the price tag on these new ones you could buy a really nice used car. Have fun with it.

I would love to able to do that...and I'm thinking about moving to AZ just so I can. We stopped by some friends on the river and he has a RZR 900 in the garage among his other toys. The RZR is plated and is practically a daily driver for them.

So what you're saying is that it's not stock!!:) Seriously @Glassman that is a nice rig. That is one heck of a mod list. If I had a place that I could use it on a regular basis I might be inclined to get one. I think they're cool toys to have.

So I finally joined the SXS family. I like to buy used when it comes to this kind of stuff because of such a hit when it rolls off the dealership floor. I was dead set on a RZR since we have already own so many Polaris vehicles, but I must say after tons of research and a few test drives, I was pretty impressed with the Can Am Maverick. It was a bonus that Performance East had this one used with only 40 hours.
20151106_164018.jpg 20151114_100308.jpg

Wow @Glassman , how do you have time to work and boat??? You have put some big bucks and energy into that RZR! How quiet are these things? I see you have helmets and intercom. The guys over at @Earmark Marine have modified a bunch of these with lights, whips, and of course, JL Audio setups. When we bought the bus, which is back in business btw, we had to find a suitable tow vehicle to tow with us. I was comparing a more functional daily driver with some weather/terrain capability but creature comforts to the Jeep Wrangler. One trip up to Goose Lake in Red River, NM in a rented wrangler, kind of nixed the wrangler because my wife didn't seem to enjoy rock road climbing/driving. So we bought a new Chevy Equinox LTZ AWD 3.6L V6. It is not an off road SUV, but it will certainly do things a normal SUV won't. But the search for a vehicle kind of opened a door to this off road stuff I didn't know existed. And not having a jeep now makes me want to explore this more. I need to read more about these things and how best to use them/maintain them/upgrade them. You guys rock (climb)!

I have one, if anyone here needs stereo or lighting for their RZR of course I will extend the forum discount and support to your RZR purchases also!

A Wet Sounds Bluetooth module and WS-420SQ equalizer/line driver, mounted overhead in the Diamond Tops roof, is used for the source and zone control

The DiamondTops roof has been treated with Hushmat for improved sound quality and holds 2 pair of JL Audio MX650CCX marine speakers, powered by a JL Audio HD600/4 amplifier.

Each speaker is lit up with RGB color-changing LED's.

In the cabin we have a pair of JL Audio MX650CCX marine speakers, each lit up with a RGB color-changing light ring. The speakers are mounting in SSV Works kick panel pods.

Behind the seats is a hidden subwoofer enclosure by SSV Works containing a JL Audio 10W1v3 subwoofer, powered by a JL Audio HD750/1 amplifier.

The subwoofer enclosure grille is illuminated with RGB color-changing LED's

2 pair of JL Audio M770ETXv2 7.7" marine speakers are mounted to the roll cage with JL Audio's new swivel mounts (available soon, these are pre-production prototypes). These speakers are powered by a JL Audio HD600/4 amplifier.

Each speaker is lit up with RGB color-changing LED's.

Rear-facing Pro-Lights dual-row combination flood/spot LED bar.

Dual Quick-light RGB color-changing fiber optic whips.

Custom switch panels and switches control the various LED bars. The 3 stereo switches are for (a) master stereo on/off, (b) interior subwoofer and (c) rear bed subwoofer. This allows each subwoofer to be activated or deactivated individually.

13_zps1e8c1faa.jpg

Under the drivers seat is the voltage sensing relay that combines the 3 batteries when charging or when needed, and separates the batteries into 2 banks for normal use. Dual stereo batteries and a single cranking/LED bar battery.

14_zps6b0dee40.jpg

3 XS Power batteries are mounted under the drivers seat. Dual MX750 batteries for the stereo system and a MX950 for the engine and LED bars. Battery bank control is handled by a voltage sensing relay and battery isolation switch.

All wires are carefully concealed within the roll cage. Any point of entry is carefully concealed and all wires are covered by flexible shielding and heat shrink.

Sweet mother of god... That is one nice looking Rzr... I'm planning a stereo in mine for next year, but think that might be a little out of my price range! Wish you guys were up in Canada, I'd hit you up for a slightly smaller project on my rzr

Any audio you need I can help you with. From a basic Wet Sounds Stealth soundbar to a full blown system like the one above, just email me when you're ready to do something and I can get you everything you need.
