The boat is in the shop for its 10 hour service and steering recall.
Steering cable bracket was ordered 10 days ago and was at the dealer within a week.
Took it in today, pick it up Friday.

4 day turn around.
9.4 hours
Steering recall completed, bracket is installed. Bulletin B2023-002R.
Compression 130 all cylinders.
10-40w watercraft synthetic.
Filter.
2.3 hours labor for 10 hr.

Very happy with dealer.

Back on the water Monday, Roosevelt.

Got my anchors squared away. The 8 lb. Hooker kit fits perfect.
The 4 lb. Anchor is for the beach. I cut the ears off.

Mind if I ask what Complete charged to put that keel guard on, and whether you are happy with how it came out?

I’ve never beached my boat but we usually go with jet skiers most of the times we go out. It’s kind of a pain in the ass constantly anchoring just off shore to hang out with them.

Have fun at Rosie. We were out there last week, it is full to the brim.

Keel guard was right around $500 installed.
I polished the bottom with Rejex, they did an awesome job on the install, I couldn't find any prep sanding marks.
We were in Sportsmans this morning they have the diy KeelGuard for $200

really liked page...we stayed in the camper a few nights at antelope point rv park late july...
the dam overlook was cool (and free). where are you launching boat? antelope point was a hotbed of house boat activity..sucked to be there without boat.

First day we launched at the Wahweap public ramp.
After that we are using the Stateline ramp.
If I were to leave the truck and trailer overnight I would use the Wahweap ramp. Parking on pavement under lights mo beta imo.
The actual Stateline ramp is closed. You use the Stateline auxiliary ramp with its own gravel parking lot. The nice thing is its closer to the water.
The aux ramp is concrete but not very steep. I had to get the front tires wet, this freaks out the wife t:cool:.
Both ramps had nice clean docks with smooth boards.

Use the fuel used meter on the connext screen.. I’ve found that to be very accurate as well as other 195 FSH owners.

This works well, I leave the conext screen where fuel management is"visible" and use my 9" helix for speed and depth.

Headed back to Lake Powell mid Oct.
Looking for a big fish!
