Are you referring to the meat delivery service?

I would think a good local butcher would be preferable. People I've heard that sign up for things like this end up with too much food and end up freezing a lot. Our neighbors have a milk and eggs delivery service - she was laughing the other night that they have 5 dozen eggs in the fridge!

I use it and like it. For us we tailor or monthly menu's based on what comes in the box. Occasionally we have to buy meat from the store or local ranch. If you like to always have certain cuts it might not be ideal. Only thing I wish for was more control over everything that comes in the box. I signed up for the beef/chicken/pork, and about 90% of the time I'm happy with what shows up. You only get to select add on items otherwise you get what they randomly send you. At holidays you can select Ham's and Turkeys to add to your orders. The user selected add on's are nice, but can get pricey. I like the idea of it, if they really are sourcing from local farmers. I also source beef from a local ranch but since I don't have a massive deep freeze and we don't eat a lot of beef, I only get some GND Beef and Steak from them when none comes in the box.
