Captains Call

I'm coming from a stern driven boat to a new Yamaha 242 LS. I have captains call exhaust on my Formula which makes is sound badass...can you install captains call on a JB?

No reason you cant, but not sure these engines will produce the same sound as a big block V8.

Personally I prefer a quieter boat....

It is funny you mention Captains Call. I think my boat is too loud and I am intrigued by the 2015's because they are supposed to be significantly quieter. I often think on the lake that driving a Yamaha is like having Captain's Call on an I/O. I doubt you will want them to be any louder than they already are.

It would sound terrible. Not at all like captains call on a v8. Think two honda civics with stupid loud fart can exhaust. On these boats, I am strongly of the opinion that quieter is better.

I'm not sure if they make them for the 1.8L engines, but TDR waterboxes turned our rice sound exhaust on pwc into a low V8 grumble (and was very loud). They sounded great if you didn't mind the noise.

I had a 5.7 I/O before this and I couldn't stand those captains call exhausts. They go screaming by loud as hell and I would think why? I could make mine sound like that but why? I like to go flying by those boats now and they never hear me, and cant keep up either.
