Connext short cuts?

Some of you may already know this but on my 2016 242 Limited S, there is a short cut for activating the navigation, anchor and docking lights. If you press the light button below the connext screen, it takes you to the lighting screen which is obvious. I accidentally pressed the light button a second time and noticed my anchor and navigation lights came on. Pressing the light button again, turns on the docking lights. If you press it again, the docking and navigation lights will turn off and leave your anchor light on. One more push and all lights are off.

This may be trivial but when switching them on or off while underway, the light button is much easier than finding where to push on the connext screen.

Anyone else know shortcuts like this for the connext screen? If so, lets hear them.

while not a shortcut, I have something that I am currently blaming on me as opposed to not being offered by Connext. How can I see water temperature while driving the boat? It seems after I shut down the motors, Connext is in float mode, and that's the ONLY way to see the water temp. Any customization options here?

I don't think you can.....its like seeing the gas level when in float mode....no can do! :-(

That's what I was afraid of, just a little thing but annoying. With all of that real estate, just squirrel that information on a screen somewhere....

So there is no water temp reading while underway on the Connext boats ? Well that's a step backwards from the small older LCD screens. They really need to do a firmware update if it's even possible and give you guys some Quality of Life fixes.

I'd love to help but my fishfinder/GPS Lowrance always gives me the water temp.
