So the wife and I dropped off the kids at camp and decided to go to table rock lake for a few days. Enjoyed a nice fireworks show in a not very busy cove. Was a perfect night

Cruising back to the condo slowly and got cavitation in both engines and couldn't clear it. After numerous attempts we limped home at a modest 5mph.
Today we got it back on the trailer and this was what I found. Such small items caused such a ruckus. One cloths hangar later and I was back in business

Nah. I really thought it was a rope though. Both engines at exactly the same time. We spent the whole day out today no issues....other than my wife not appreciating the water roughness quite as much as usual. Top speed is about 35 before her warning light comes on

The more I read things like this makes me want to build the worlds largest swimming pool just for my jet boat ! Lol.
Glad it didn't ruin your whole weekend :)

Doesn't take much to cavitate a pump. Glad that you got it out without ruining your day.

Were you doing the reverse trick to attempt to clear the pumps?

not exactly but a quick forum search enlightened me

It would have cleared one of the nozzles but the other was a hard wedged stubborn little stick. Little more knowledge for next time

Did anyone else expect to see a scarab crashed into a tree?

Glad all is well though.
