Ignition Switch not activating the Dash Board Elements?

Hello all,

I got back to the 2006 230SX this weekend after about 6 months out of the water and had a dying battery, I tried a jump box for a few tries but no go so put in a new battery. Before battery died the Port ignition switch behaved just lake the Starboard in that the beep would occur and the dash speed, depth and other accessories would all work... After the new battery went in now no beep, no dash operation and no blowers working with the Port switch but it will still start? Is there a specific fuse for this limited operation I can't find?

On another note, when the "no wake" switches are on the Port shows the "Engine and Temp" icons while the Starboard shown the "engine and Pressure" icons... the manual says all three should be on?

Final item is that I noticed that one engine is not putting out any cooling water, how to check on that operation? I did put the air compressor to the out-port and went right through to the river water but still no out-put?

Check how you put the battery cable back on the battery. My guess is the positive accessory cable is connected to the ground side of the battery.

There is a fuse on the house battery line within a few feet of the battery connection.
