Are there any tips or trick to getting your cover on when your boat is docked in the water. If it not going to rain I just drape it over and use the cleat pockets and velcro to keep it there over night but I expect it will rain this weekend so I need it done right.

The trick that I use starts when I uncover the boat before launching. I loosen up the ratcheted straps just enough to release the cover. That way it's pre-set to the right tension when I put the cover on in the slip and I don't have to try and tighten it up. Which IMHO is pretty hard to do while the cover is on in a wet slip.

The trick I used was purchase a snap on cover. Much easier to put on while moored.

I do it everytime I cover the boat. I just make sure I am neat when I roll the cover up to take off, try to kneel on the very edge of the swim platform when tightening the rachets.

Yup....pretty easy to do. When removing, loosen the strap as little as possible, then roll the cover up towards the bow.

Then when putting it back on, roll the cover back to the stern, putting it over the cleats as you go. Once you get to the stern, you put it over the stern cleats, then lay it on the swim deck, flip it over the rub rail and clip to the tie down eyes then tighten the strap.....done!

I've done this tons of times and it is really not hard.
