I put mine on the sides of the trailer between the wheels. My goal was to make them visible for all to see.

I'm planning mine now as well
. Thinking one on the lift glass of my truck and a second aft on the boat probably port side near the fuel vent. I tend to dock with my port side fenders, so that would make the most placement sense for me anyway.

If I didn't have the Yamaha emblems on the side of the trailer in between the wheels, I would have put some stickers there too. They look nice there.
