We are getting huge rains in California and despite the brand new Yamaha Black cover I have for my 2016 242, I still get leaks that someone how permeate into the front starboard head area (in front of the steering wheel) getting my two amplifiers wet. This is odd because the Boat is mostly dry after a rain storm but the amps (and other items) are wet for days on end (and I do open it up to dry) but seems like water is running into there.
Any advice on keeping the front starboard head area dry?

Thanks in advance

You are sure it's rain getting in there, not water from a leaking anchor locker drain?

Cup holders? They have drains, and they are not plumbed to the bilge from the factory. It's a small hole, but will cause water to get into storage in every cabinet, as these boats have lots of cupholders.

Coming in around the GPS antenna?

The GPS antenna or xm antenna. Good bet. Or perhaps through the right side of the dash. I’ll tape up the gps antenna and see if that helps

Thx ?
