Milwaukee air show - June 21/22

Is anyone planning to attend by boat? We'd like to, but are not that familiar with launch locations to try to avoid the madness if at all possible.

Boated a lot on Lake Michigan when I was younger....pretty much always wavy and often unpredictable.

I'll be down in Orange Beach, Al that week but I recently ventured our on Lake Michigan out of McKinley Memorial day weekend. It was a lot of fun and surprisingly not busy at the ramp. I would imagine it can get busy for events like the air show. In those cases you might be able to put in at South Shore or the Bruce Street ramp. I Believe Skipper Buds also has a launch on the KK River. As long as there isn't a strong wind out of the east it shouldn't be too rough.

@RiverRat - unfortunately not, I was camping last weekend. We were on Pewaukee the Saturday before Memorial Day.
