Does anyone know the source for the mirror being put on the 2017 212X? It measures 20" x 6". It is the best mirror I have ever used and want to know if I can adapt it to my mount.
@buckbuck - I am not aware of the mirror on the 212X but I will tell you that I purchased a CIPA mirror from Amazon that is about the same size. 20"x7"

$150 is pretty steep for a rear view mirror if you ask me, but it is worth its weight in gold as far as water sports safety and convenience.
I posted pics above in this thread.
I’m adding my experience to this 1 year old thread. I bit the bullet and installed today the only Non-Window mirror mount that fits the early to middle 242LS swept forward tower. The Samson works. I had to return a Monster-Tower mount because there was no way to mount it. This one is expensive but the results look great. I bought the CIPA mirror on Amazon, but it’s so big the idea of mounting it on the windshield didn’t sound good, plus it’s hard to see over my 6’4” frame in the driver couch.
I’m removing the arm and mirror for storage and towing. Only takes a few seconds.
The view from the CIPA mirror is amazing. I won’t miss much now.

I have had mine for 3 years, and in open mode is perfect, but when folded down it wobbles. Its been repaired once under warranty but it went bad again. I imagine there is a bushing that gets worn down
