Does anyone know the source for the mirror being put on the 2017 212X? It measures 20" x 6". It is the best mirror I have ever used and want to know if I can adapt it to my mount.

I believe it is the CIPA 01609 black vision 180.
I love it!!!
Fantastic for water sports or if your are boating in a busy place, very addicting, easy to install. I run hard and haven't had any problems after making initial adjustments. But... it is enormous.

@swatski you devil!!!

How did you talk Kenny from South Park into taking a ride with you? (top pic)
LMAO!!

Here is the mirror on the 2017 212X. It is $400 at Wakemakers.

I second the cipa vision. It is amazing.

I’m adding my experience to this 1 year old thread. I bit the bullet and installed today the only Non-Window mirror mount that fits the early to middle 242LS swept forward tower. The Samson works. I had to return a Monster-Tower mount because there was no way to mount it. This one is expensive but the results look great. I bought the CIPA mirror on Amazon, but it’s so big the idea of mounting it on the windshield didn’t sound good, plus it’s hard to see over my 6’4” frame in the driver couch.

I’m removing the arm and mirror for storage and towing. Only takes a few seconds.

The view from the CIPA mirror is amazing. I won’t miss much now.

I wouldn't mind a nice mirror, but these things are crazy money - even considering the usual boat tax.

That looks perfect for the new boats but it would put the mirror out over the bow on my 2013 242LS.

My 2019 has a PTM edge, haven't even taken it out on the water and its already broken. UGH

I have had mine for 3 years, and in open mode is perfect, but when folded down it wobbles. Its been repaired once under warranty but it went bad again. I imagine there is a bushing that gets worn down

Did you warranty through Yamaha or PTM

Mine was purchased by me, so by PTM
