Just like others, I have been lurking the forum for awhile reading great information. I finally pulled the trigger and picked up a new 16 SX192 and unloaded a 99 Sea Doo Challenger 1800. There are some things I will definitely miss with the Sea Doo but there will not be much love lost.

In the past I have also had a 99 Sea Ray 185 with the 4.3L. I initially thought I would not be happy unless I jumped up to a 21 foot boat for the room. I can't get over how much room the SX192 has and feels over my old Sea Ray. I also think the fit and finish of my new Yamaha is just as good as the Sea Ray was when I bought it new.

I was struggling with waiting to see what the 2017 models would be offering. Ultimately though, if your always waiting for the next best thing, you end up not doing anything and missing out on good times not had.
So far I am glad I bought her and looking forward to getting the most out it.

Welcome!!!! Great looking boat!!!
Where are you from in OH. I was born and raised there. The very southern tip..on the river.

Beautiful boat, congrats!!!

Welcome! Nice pick. Ohio River boating?

I'm actually north of Cincy near Lebanon. Don't know if I will get it out on the river. Been out there on a 60ft cruiser a few times and it seems the river is full of junk. Also afraid I would be thrown around like a rag doll dodging the barges. Caesars Creek and Brookville are both closer and easier for a day outing. I much prefer Norris when I can manage the time off.

Welcome. I live just south of you in Evendale. We boat at Brookville. Hopefully I'll see you there.

Out on Indian lake right now! Not too far from ya. You should definitely check it out.

Great looking boat!! Have fun with her ... I know the family will.

Take pictures... lots and lots of pictures. We will want to see and you'll want all those pics of the kids having a blast.

Welcome aboard! We do 95% of our boating on the Ohio River near Cincy. If you ever get out on the river, let me know. Also, I suggest joining the "Ohio River Boat Party" Facebook page if you haven't already. They don't talk just about the river, but boating in the Cincy area in general.

You can count on it. Photography is another hobby of mine. Thinking about doing some pictorial reviews of the various lakes I make it to.

I have been there once many years ago. Never actually went out on the lake, had dinner at the Moose. Had a stern drive then and remember it being quite shallow and being concerned with the outdrive. I will have to make a trip up there. Seemed pretty nice from what I remember.

It's still shallow but that's why it's perfect for our boats. Cheers to the weekend. Enjoy.

Welcome.....Great looking boat....I alm new to the Yammy and this forum myself, but there is a lot of great info on here. I am the new owner of a 242 Limited SE and love it. I think Yamaha is a great product, and all things considered, dont think there is another boat on the market that gives you what you get from Yamaha!!4aBoat.jpg

Welcome! Don't fear the Ohio River. The debris is only bad when the water level raises significantly and the barges don't really put out much wake! I do ALL of my boating on the river and love it.

I know I'm a bit late to to party. But welcome to the site and congrats on the new boat. I made the switch from a two stroke sea Doo to a 4 stroke Yamaha and been loving it. Again, congrats.

Great looking boat! Also been lurking here awhile and joining from Indian Lake in Ohio.
