Hey people, glad to see this board. Brother and I got a 2010 Yamaha 212X and want to learn more about the thing. He owns it and I got the truck to tow it.

glad to have you on board, check out our FAQ tab at the top of the page for lot's of great info,

if you change the spark plugs on the MR1 engine be careful of the #3 plug it can sometimes get seized and if your not careful you can break it off.

Thank you. Glad you mentioned that as we are going to check them.

Thanks Julian. Will share some pics soon.

Welcome. You guys are going to have a blast. There is a lot of information available here and a great deal of hands on experience so feel free to ask questions.

Welcome @silverJ and congrats on the new boat.

Welcome! No better place to Yamaha help and ideas. Add your location and look at the list of groups. you'll find gatherings, and boaters near you.

Welcome... I watched this forum for months before I bought about two years ago... I have never had a question go unanswered here.. anything u need to know can be found here...
Add you location and u will automatically be placed on the user map.. u may have someone near you who can show you some stuff.

Welcome and congrats! (And yes: Pics please!)

While you're checking those plugs, just go ahead and replace 'em (unless you know for sure they are new) and put a thin coat of anti-seize on the threads. You'll sleep better at night.

Welcome aboard!
