Hello! We're new to being Jetboaters, as of yesterday afternoon. We bought a used 2019 Yamaha 275 SE. We took the family (5 kids still at home) out yesterday on Lake Lewisville and had an absolute blast. It was REALLY windy and there were 2-3 foot swells, which just meant the kids could get really wet.

That was a win.

I've been a boater for all of my 61 years, but haven't lived anywhere that we could have a boat since 2011. It is nice to be out on the lake. We have a slip for our boat with a lift at the nearby marina (15 minutes from our house), which is so handy.

We also have a 1986 Carver 4207, so we have a "home base" at the marina. Looking into how to tow the Yamaha safely, and know I have to put in valves to control water. Won't do that for awhile but will eventually. First I have to teach our 15-year-old how to drive a boat!

I've been reading here and love it. Thanks in advance for all the advice.
