Panama City August 13/14/15 2015

The beach is awesome and hopefully you get some friends to come around. Hopefully not a Great White!!

@ScarabMike I think I am going to put in at Beacon Beach Marina at Tyndall AFB. I would be due East of Treasure Island Marina in East Bay. Like @Big Shasta said, be careful with the Lower Grand Lagoon as it gets very shallow in the middle. Also, watch out for the Kamikaze Pontoon Boats with tourist on them.. Some of them can be quite entertaining....;) See you tomorrow.

Well, I'm pretty bummed. The warranty work did not get finished on our SUV and the loaner they gave us does not have a trailer hitch. :banghead:

Anyone in Panama City20150710_164119.jpg have a @ScarabMike sighting yet? I am getting the boat ready to head down to the Bay...

Hope you guys are having fun. Here's the crowd you're missing at Crab Island.

I should also say that when @ScarabMike and his wife showed, my wife and I took off and were going to meet them at Shell Island. We started having engine trouble. Got it back to Treasure Island Marina and found that the number one spark plug cap had came loose and it was only running on two cylinders. @ScarabMike sprayed a little CR626 on it plugged it back on and it ran like a champ. Another pre-launch item to check.;)

The mini meet was awesome, Lol.

We also found out that there are differences in the helm design between our boats. There must have been a change between the 2014 year. @Slugger55 boat's helm looked similar to the 215.

Panama City has been great. And Treasure Island Marina is an also.e place to store or dock your boat. Very friendly service.

Hate I missed it. Can't wait to see the video.

I hate more people didn't get there, but I'm really happy with the info. I'd like to go down next summer with my boat and was going to need to some of this type info. Thanks!

Sorry, I am not that savvy with editing videos. @ScarabMike and spouse were a lot of fun hanging out with.. We are going to make a trip to Jax sometime before winter. Enjoy the video...

Awesome, You guys were coming up close to a good food spot up there. Boon Docks. Did you stop? If you kept going that way (the intercoastal) it's right before the bridge you go under on your left. You could also get to destin in about an hour that way.

@Big Shasta I showed @ScarabMike where Boon Docks was located, but we didn't take time for dining. Wind was picking up and it was getting pretty rough out on the bay..

That's right, Sorry I forgot you were local. If you've never tried Boon Docks, it's pretty good

I have another segment of video showing you how rough it was coming back to treasure island. The wife was taking a pounding sitting on the bow... I have to find out what @ScarabMike did to his boat, he was leaving me in the dust!! ;)
