Pinopolis lock and Cooper River Charleston SC May 7th

Excited like a giddy little school girl. That the rain has finally let up skipping out of work early to get the boat ready

Yep, happens to me every time I wash my truck @DieselCamel . I plan on washing the ski via donuts somewhere on Lake Marion tomorrow ;)

Ah... Made it to the HI in Santee. Didn't get rain until right when we pulled in so kept her clean. Whew. Dinner and swimming in the pool...the fun is on!

I requested an alligator free room and free beer when I made the reservation. Didn't think I'd get it!

How did the trip go? I went to Wateree and was wondering how you guys did.

It was a fun day... the unloading.. driviNG the boat an hour.. then back an hour ... reloading... trailering the boat about 35 min then unloading was a bit of a pain... but not even mother nature and a closed lock could keep this group from the trip and the night in beautiful charleston...

That was a full day for sure. The river run was vey cool and the Lowrance Elite 4 led me right. We saw four dolphins too. My wife's Fitbit says she took 15,000 steps on the ride. Rough water cruising was surely equivalent exercise. Thanks to all and looking forward to the return.
