Potential Issue

Just towed a broken down jet ski to shore. My boat was in fairly shallow water as a I dropped the ski off. Once I untied the ski and took off everything was fine. Out of know where about two minutes later my wet storage locker shot up (must of been pressure of clean up port). Looked like huge wave behind us. Boat obviously stopped. Re applied clean out port and boat operates normally. What would cause this? My only guess something was lodged in the intake or pure coincidence and I might of not closed wet storage or clean out port all the way (I don’t recall messing with either recently)?

I did lose the lock for the wet storage so will need to re-order. Caught me off guard and dont want this to happen again.

This is called a plug blow out, means it wasn't inserted properly. Be sure you line it up properly and screw it in.....the old style was more prone to a blowout.
