Price Help 2016 242 Limited S

Hello, I have an opportunity to buy a 2016 242 Limited S with about 80 hours on it. Seems to be in great shape with dealer maintenance records. Asking 41k. Seems like a fair deal but wanted to get some feedback.

I paid more than that for my 2015 242 Limited S last August with 120 hours on it. If it's legit, and everything checks out, it won't last long at that price.

Have you seen it in person and how has communication with the seller gone so far? Lots of scams on places like Craigslist so buyer beware.

If this is a legit deal that is a steal! 50-53k would be what these boats are selling for currently. You better get in there and throw the Benjamin’s down on that.

Be wary. When it sounds too good. Unless they don't know any better, I would be skeptical that someone would leave 10k+ on the table in such a hot market that is in perfect condition. They could sell it to a dealer for that or close. Hopefully it is someone you know and you are just getting an awesome deal.

Too good to be true - agree with the above. Dealers are calling people like me (in SoCal) with with 2016 242 models asking to buy them back so they can resell them (at a markup). with so few hours - that price doesn't add up - 10 to 15k under market
